this blog is mutuals only, meaning i will only write with those i follow back. i'm reluctant to follow blogs that : focus solely on smut, write real people ( including historical ), have anime / manga ( with exceptions for friends or if i follow first ), no writing, spam with gifsets / musings / ooc posts, constant vague-posting. i may unfolllow / soft block / hard block if i feel uncomfortable or simply wish to clear up dash. it's never personal if i don't communicate with you. i ask that you are at least 18 years old.

formatting doesn’t matter to me. we’re here to write, not stress about presentation or how aesthetic our writing looks. just cut your posts, and do not use a picture/screenshot as your reply. my formatting changes but i tend to do some spacing, small text, sometimes with color, and usually 55 px icons, but since i’m lazy, i will most likely go iconless with a divider.

i don’t use “trigger warning” format due to their harmful implications, but i do default tag sexual nsfw or visually graphic content, anything else : msg me.

this blog may include: explicit language, implied sexual content, graphic description, mentions of sexual harassment, murder, kidnapping, abuse, torture. i am never going to write out explicit sexual assault or rape. the most you’ll get out of me are references. you know what you can handle, please do not follow if you wouldn’t be comfortable!

━━━━⠀⠀ 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄. ⠀⠀

shiva's universe is urban fantasy, set in a town with access to a larger metropolitan area. she hails from a long line of witches, primarily a feline dominated bloodline. she is the first in a few generations to have earn the familiar of a cat, also an extension of her soul. her familiar is a black cat named nita and they are inseparable.

because shiva was a rarity of a black cat, she was given nine lives. a prodigal witch who couldn't care less about her responsibilities, she played dangerously with magic and often treaded the veil between life and death. a walking bomb and a threat to her coven ( and many others ), outside forces have attempted to rein her in and control her.

it is not until her recklessness and disregard for rules causes herself and her group of friends to be slaughtered by a malevolent spirit, that she finally understands the severity of her actions. she's in her early 20s, already lost two of her nine lives.

⠀ACT TWO. ( CURRENT )⠀ ⠀⠀follows shiva in her present timeline in her early 20s, attending college and working as a copy editor.

⠀ACT ONE.⠀ ⠀⠀shiva is 16-18 years old. this follows the more rebellious years and explores a time prior to the traumatic events that unfold when shiva is 18.

⠀ACT THREE.⠀ ⠀⠀ takes place when shiva is 24-27 years old. she is preparing for a traditional and barbaric ritual that determines her place in the coven, as well as answering for her many crimes within the community.

⠀MUNDANE.⠀ ⠀⠀ same as her general plot, just no witchiness. rather than dying from her recklessness, she is injured. and in the case of the slaughter, she is the only survivor ( barely alive ) of a mass murder from a wanted serial killer.

⠀BUNGO STRAY DOGS.⠀ ⠀⠀ works for the special operations division, primarily tasked with overseeing documents and planning cover-ups. very rarely will she make an appearance in a public setting on the clock, but has occasionally gone undercover for various cases in sussing out settings as amicably as possible for records. she is also an ability user ( to be expanded on, but you bet it's gonna include her familiar ).

⠀TVD/TO.⠀ ⠀⠀ same as her main canon, but she attended mystic falls high school during the same era as the original group. to fit the originals, she moves to new orleans after graduating high school and aligns with the witches.
